Dick’s Sporting Goods, a national retailer of sporting apparel and outdoors equipment, signed a lease for 45,000 square feet of retail space in Coleman Marketplace Shopping Center in Danville. (News release)

LTD Management Co. of Chesapeake will contract a Residence Inn by Marriott facility in downtown Norfolk. The nine-story, 160-all suites hotel will break ground this fall with a scheduled opening at the end of 2008. (News release)

Corporate Woods Associates LLC sold the Corporate Woods Business Center in Virginia Beach to Samsons II LLC, an affiliate of the law firm Samuel I. White PC, for $4.4 million. (News release)

Luning Prak Ltd. sold a 129,000-square foot industrial building in Chesterfield County’s Bermuda Industrial Park to Fullerton Properties Inc. for $4.1 million. The distribution facility was bought by Fullerton as an investment. (News release)

The General Services Administration leased 55,890 square feet of office space on Lake Herbert Drive in Norfolk. The facility is a new Class A building which will be used to consolidate the government offices of the Social Security Administration, Disability Determination Services and Disability Adjudication and Review. 3DF Associated LLC is developing a four-building complex in Prince William County’s Firestone Park Center, a 12.4-acre site near I-66. The first building, to be built by R.W. Murray Co., will consist of 49,865 square feet with completion scheduled for February 2008. Construction on the second building will begin in the fourth quarter of 2007. (News release)

Washington Real Estate Investment Trust of Rockville, Md., bought the Ashburn Farm Office Park, a complex of three multi-story medical buildings in Ashburn Farm Town Center, for $23 million. (Business Wire)
