Wellborn Cabinet Inc., an
Ashland,
Ala. manufacturer of kitchen and bath cabinets, plans to invest $3 million to
open a cabinet manufacturing operation in
Smyth
County. Wellborn will occupy the former Vaughan-Bassett facility and create 100
jobs.
Virginia competed against
Kentucky,
North Carolina,
Pennsylvania and
West Virginia for the investment. (News release)
