AOL, a Dulles-based
Internet services provider, and Weblogs Inc. introduced
a financial blog network that features a collection
of blogs dedicated to news and commentary on public
companies.
AOL, which plans to update each blog several times
a day, anticipates adding two companies a month to

Cavalier Telephone, a Richmond-based telecommunications
company, launched broadband-based television service
in the Richmond
area. Cavalier is the first telephone provider to use
MPEG-4 technology in deploying television services
over a broadband connection. The company offers customers
a “triple play” bundled service of television, telephone
