For the seventh consecutive
year, Virginia Business teamed with the Virginia
Bar Association in preparing the Legal Elite, an
annual list of top lawyers in a variety of specialties
as vot
ed on by their peers.
This year, ballots
were sent to more than 7,000 lawyers around the
state. Profiles of representatives from 13 legal
categories appear along with the following lists.
The profile
subjects are picked from the top vote getters in
each category, but they are not necessarily those
with the most votes in their group. Profiles are
not repeated for lawyers who already have been
featured in recent years.
