Valley Rich Dairy of Roanoke
will lay off 300 workers, including 160 in Roanoke,
and cut close 15 of its 17 distribution centers in
Virginia, North Carolina and West Virginia. Valley
Rich, which processes and distributes milk and dairy
products under various stores brands as well as its
own, cited competitive changes in the dairy marketplace
