BT Conferencing Inc., a Massachusetts-based provider of conferencing technologies, chose Chesapeake for its first expansion. An operations support facility that will create 150 jobs. (Press release)

Lindstrand USA Inc., a manufacturer of inflatable structures, will invest $2.5 million to open a manufacturing facility in South Boston with 50 jobs. The company, whose products include flood barriers and portable bridges, is a subsidiary of Lindstrand Technologies Ltd. of Shropshire, England. Virginia competed with California, Kentucky and Texas for the investment. (Press release)

Ten Oaks LLC, a new company created by the former owners of Stuart Flooring Co., will invest $6 million to open a hardwood products operation in Patrick County and create 150 jobs. Virginia competed with North Carolina for the project. (Press release)

Texturing Services Inc., a Reidsville, N.C., producer of specialty yarns, will invest $14 million to move its operations to Henry County. The company plans to hire 200 workers over the next 30 months for the manufacture of synthetic yarns for a variety of users, including the automotive and apparel sectors. (Press release)
