Merillat Corp., an Adrian, Mich., manufacturer of cabinetry products, will invest $7.3 million to expand its Smyth County facility and add 60 jobs in wood finishing and shipping. (Press release)

Nestle Refrigerated Foods announced an $8 million expansion at its Danville facility that will mean the creation of 50 jobs. The investment will allow expansion of its refrigerated cookie dough production. (Press release)

Toll Brothers, a Huntington Valley, Penn., developer of luxury homes, announced plans to invest $5 million to expand operations in Emporia and Greensville County. The expansion of manufacturing and warehouse operations will create 100 new jobs and retention of 190 more had Virginia not won out over Maryland and West Virginia for the investment.
