MCI, an Ashburn-based telecommunications company, extended its sponsorship of the Professional Golf Association through 2010. The MCI Heritage Golf Tournament at Hilton Head Island, S.C., would have expired in 2006. MCI has been a PGA sponsor since 1987. (8/18/04, PR Newswire)
