Coliseum Corner, a 49,000-square foot shopping center in Hampton, has been sold to Ziff Properties, a Charleston, S.C.-based firm with over 2 million square feet of properties throughout Virginia, the Carolinas, Georgia, and Northern Florida. The center is leased and managed by Divaris Real Estate, which is headquartered in Virginia Beach. (Press release)

Columbia Sussex Co., a Fort Mitchell, Ky. company that owns and operates two Richmond hotels, bought the Williamsburg Marriott. The 295-room hotel, a Hilton until 1994, will retain the Marriott name. No major changes in jobs at the facility are planned. (Daily Press)

Hunton & Williams, a Richmond law firm, agreed to an extension of its downtown lease at Riverfront Plaza. The original lease would have run out in 2006. One of the world’s 50 largest firms, Hunton & Williams considered other options, including building its own facility, or moving all or part of the firm to a suburban location. The firm will continue to rent 298,000 square feet of space with options for expansion and lease extension. (Richmond Times-Dispatch)
