Sterling-based MAP ROI Systems recently completed a $2.6 million round of financing to help fund sales and marketing efforts for its G-Force System. G-Force is the first online management system designed to help companies of all sizes effectively identify, qualify, propose and win federal government contracting opportunities, many targeted to the information-technology and security business sectors. The system was developed over the course of several years by a management team with first-hand experience in understanding the government bidding process.

“Our team has developed a powerful system that streamlines the business development, capture management and proposal development process,” says Christopher K. Stahl, company founder and CEO. Collectively the development team had experience in winning or assisting other companies in obtaining government contracts worth more than $5 billion.

“One of the great features of G-Force is its ability to assemble the various opportunities of interest to a sales force, based upon the type of product or service a company offers,” says David Powell, vice president of the Federal Business Council, a producer of federal information-technology expositions and conferences. “Once the opportunity is identified, the G-Force service takes a client from the creation of a proposal through the bidding process.”

The entire system is delivered online so that companies do not have a large investment in hardware or software. There is also very little ongoing management or administrative resources required. G-Force can also be used to identify contracting opportunities in state and local government, as well as the federal sector, through its database of current and long-term contracts.
