The AES Corp. of Arlington, a global power company, announced an agreement with SSE Generation, a generator company based in the UK to sell its ownership interest in Medway Power and AES Medway Operations. (Business Wire)

The Brink’s Co., a business and security services provider based in Richmond, announced one of its subsidiaries entered into definitive agreements to sell substantially all of its remaining coal properties in West Virginia. (Business Wire)

Media General Inc. of Richmond, sold its subsidiary, Media General Financial Services Inc., a source of online financial data, to CenterPoint Data, an Austria-based provider of intelligent integrative solutions for industrial research and manufacturing,.
