New Plants and Companies
Flexa Furniture Inc. of Hornsyld, Denmark, a global children’s furniture maker and distributor, plans to move its U.S. headquarters to Wilroy Industrial Park in Suffolk because of its location close to many cities along the East Coast. The company will invest about $1 million in a building and equipment, a development expected to create 20 jobs in the next year. (The Virginian-Pilot)

Greenridge Environmental Corp., a start-up environmental remediation firm, plans to invest $9.5 million launching the company in Lunenburg County, creating 165 jobs over 30 months.
