Where geography, technology and quality of life converge

When Terremark Worldwide Inc. selected Culpeper, Virginia, as the site for its latest ultra high-tech data center campus, the IT world discovered what Virginians have known for years: There’s something special about this place. Somehow Culpeper has maintained its genuine hometown atmosphere and charm while solidly embracing the dynamics of the new economy.

Technology has changed how and where business is done. Today’s ideal business location is found where geography, technology and quality of life converge to create new opportunities for growing businesses, while retaining the qualities that make it an ideal place to raise a family. This is Culpeper, Virginia.

Just over 65 miles from Washington, D.C., Culpeper County is close enough for “face time” when needed. Terremark is a leading operator of integrated Internet exchanges and a global provider of managed IT infrastructure solutions for government and private sectors. Terremark’s master plan for its Culpeper site calls for five state-of-the-art, ultra-reliable data center facilities, each yielding approximately 50,000 square feet of co-location space designed to the Federal government’s strictest security standards.
