Their Dream, Their Bank
How Central Virginia Bank is making their customers' dreams a reality.

Larry Lyons, CEO, and his management team share a common vision that has evolved into a way of doing business for Central Virginia Bank.

While many banks speak to customer service, CVB has mapped out a strategy to deliver consistent superior service throughout the bank. For every vision, dream or goal of a customer, financial services are needed. Customers want a bank that listens to their visions or goals, understands their needs, and works with them to deliver banking products and services to make their dreams a reality "…customers should expect nothing less than a level of service that is greater than what they can find at any other bank. That is our plan, a superior customer experience combined with unique and competitively priced products and services."

CVB's new ad campaign features a customer's dream and how the bank helped make it a reality. The new tag line for the campaign is Central Virginia Bank - "My Dream, My Bank". "Every customer has a dream for a new home, saving or investing for retirement, or working capital for a business. They want a bank to share their dream by looking for ways to say yes, not no." While the tagline is simple and short, the words describe what they do.

Customer Appreciation Days are part of the Bank's new campaign to thank their customers in a tangible way. "It's important to thank our customers for their business, their trust and loyalty, and to do it in a manner that's unique. Many banks budget a lot of money to acquire new customers, but spend very little to thank their existing customers… we wanted to be different, so we created Customer Appreciation Days," said Lyons.
