Meeting
and Conference Destinations:
Williamsburg
Meet where the forefathers did
Williamsburg has been the meeting spot for some of the
world’s top leaders. If it’s good enough
for them, couldn’t it be perfect for you? In addition
to important pre-Revolutionary War meetings and the
capital of early Virginia, the area has attracted leaders
from around the world. Ronald Reagan held the Economic
Summit of Industrialized Nations in Williamsburg in
1983. CEOs of the country’s 100 largest public
companies meet there annually for The Business Roundtable.
The region has also hosted the U.S. Senate Democratic
Caucus and NATO’s defense ministers and frequently
hosts heads of state as guests.
Williamsburg offers guests a variety of entertainment.
They can step back into the 18th century at Colonial
Williamsburg, the world’s largest living history
museum, play golf at championship golf courses, visit
nearby theme parks and shop at discount retail stores.
